The Youth Farm is an education-focused farm in Brooklyn that works especially with public schools in NYC to increase the students knowledge of the food system and build organic growing skills. One of our awesome beta users Kris De La Torre is highly involved with the program and we are going along to check it out! The market will be open from 2.30-6pm at 600 Kingston Ave in Brooklyn, NY. Come and get your groceries, tour the farm and meet some of the incredible folks involved with this project.
Dinner with NYCSCL at Littleneck, Gowanus 10/26
New York Creative Social Concern LTD is formed by Chad Phillips and Joe Doucet, NYCSCL is a social meet up on the first Tuesday of each month. It's purpose, to bring together people representing different disciplines in the creative field to meet, drink and hopefully create together. Our team at MF is joining in on Monday by hosting a dinner at Littleneck (one of our talented beta users!) to continue the tradition.
